Can I make Cingular Sony Ericsson phone use Tmobile chip?
I have a Sony Ericsson with a Cingular logo on the bottom, I have a Tmobile chip that I have inserted but the cell buzz is asking for right chip. How can I tweak it in peacefulness to use it with a Tmobile chip? Is there some kind of software that I can use or can independent buzz shoft help with this? Please help…
Thank’s guys!

The buzz is locked to Cingular, which means you cannot use it with any other GSM provider except you get this buzz unlocked.
Call AT&T Customer Service and tell them you are traveling to China and want to activate your buzz on a pay-as-you-go plot with a local provider once you get there. They should get back to you via e-mail within a link of days with a code to unlock your buzz (it’s different for every single buzz) and instructions on how to use it.
well the prev. answer doesn’t really work, even pre-paid cingular phones are “locked to the network” most companies do this. Do a quest on google for Unlock codes they cost about 20.00 dollars and take about 36hrs to go through- I just unlocked my cing. moto V3 it worked fine. Once a buzz is unlocked you can place your active GSM Sim card into it and your excellent to go. KEEP in mind, once unlocked the data side of your buzz ie. the internet or special ring tones will probably not work. AND t-mobile CAN not troubleshoot a buzz that they don’t sell or support. Hope this helps!
