Can I use a Micro SD that came with a Nokia phone, in a Samsung phone?
I had a Nokia 5300, and just bought the Samsung blast. I place my 1 Gig Micro SD card into my Samsung and it’s not recognizing it. I’m not worried about losing the data, I have it backed up. I just need to know if it’s even possible for me to use the card in a different buzz.

if it says it supports Micro SD then it has the same slot, if it has an regular SD slot, there is an adaptor that should have came with the chip.
It’s possible to use the card in a different buzz, but the new buzz will most liable make you format the card before usage. You can use the card in either buzz but you can’t share the card between the two.
if the Samsung takes micro sd it will work
if it doesn’t you’ll need to format it
once you connect it the card to a computer (with a card reader)
find it in my computer (guide F or whatever), and right click it
this should give you the option to format
follow the on screen instructions and voila, it should work
except the card is broken
As long as both phones accept a Micro SD card, then of course it is possible. You might need to format that card with your computer first. Place it in a card reader or your ancient buzz, plug in the usb, go to explorer, find the card, right click it, click format.
Plug your micro SD into your computer and back up all the files then format the SD card
go to Start>My computer>Right click on the SD card>”Format”
If your using a Macintosh or Apple computer
Then your screwed
sorry
