Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to get the Motorola Phone Tools to work correctly? Please?
My daughter has a RAZR buzz and every dang time I try to hook it up to the computer to conveying files back and forth, Motorola Buzz Tools gives me a hard time. Most of the time, I can’t even get it to work. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, did the updates several time, left the updates off, disabled Norton, I have tried it all and I just can’t get it to work. I was ticked about having to buy a CD to use a buzz that comes equipped with certain features. If they built it, they should provide the tools to use it for free. But I know, it’s just another way to get your money – which I dont’ have much of. Anyway, I’m done griping. So can someone please give me some suggestions up your sleeve from taking a torch to it?
Thank you.

I had the same problem!! A link of tips: the Blue Tooth function never works with the software for me, so make sure you r using a cable and plug into the USB port directly. It matters which USB port you are connected to as well, so keeping plugging it in to each one until you are successful. I reflect I had to un-install and re-install the software about 7 times to get it to work.
In the end, the Buzz Tools wasn’t that fantastic anyway, so you may just want to trash the total thought and save yourself the frustration. The MP3 player on my buzz only holds about 25-30 songs, so I finished up buying an mp3 and not even using the one on my buzz. And I never could figure out the “make your own ringtone” function.
hope that helps, and excellent luck.
