Do I need a Data Plan to use the Samsung A177 phone with T-Mobile?
I am plotting to upgrade my current buzz with T-movable to a Samsung A177 buzz. It’s an AT&T buzz but i will get it unlocked to use for T-movable. My question is if I would need to change my current plot with T-Mobiile to a data plot to use the Samsung A177.

I am not sure what your current plot is, but I can shed some insight into the data plot option. I unlocked my Samsung A177 for use with T-movable, and the representative told me I needed a data plot. I signed up for the Even More Plus plot that included 500 minutes, unlimited nights and weekends, and unlimited text (including IM and MMS). I also extra the unlimited Internet package. Also, once you set up the buzz with T-movable, you will need to reconfigure the messaging and Internet (if you have Internet extra) options to work with the T-movable servers.
