Does anyone know how to insure a cell phone, not bought through the service provider?
I have AT&T. And i just bought a unlocked buzz in vegas thats one of a kind. Solid gold Vertu, its value a crapload and i want to know how i can insure it? It’s value about 10K, so what insurance company would you reflect would insure it?

you cannot insure it through your wireless carrier, but you may be able to get it covered by home insurance or even the following company called Safeware. Their website is safeware.com and they may insure it. Also, Verizon Wireless is coming out with the Vertu Cobra. Only 8 of them exist worldwide, but Verizon will be releasing this $300,000 buzz late next spring (pending FCC approval). It will be sold for $2,000 on a new 2 year upgrade and will only be available to current Verizon Wireless subscribers. This will be considered the most expensive buzz in the U.S.A.
