How do i put music on Samsung Slyde phone?

I have tried to place music onto my samsung buzz.. but it wont let me.
i have tried following the instruction manual , and the music appears to have gone to my buzz (because memory card gets more full) but on my buzz.. it appears that there is no music ?
Does anyone know how to place it on so i can really listen to it ? haa
