How do I unlock my Motorola v551 phone?
My carrier Cingular won’t unlock it for me. I have the Motorola buzz tools program (to make my own ringtones, download my schedule to the buzz, etc.) but I can’t use it with my buzz except it is unlocked. What is the best way to unlock it myself or have it unlocked?

Cingular phones can be unlocked after you have them for 90 days by calling customer service and filling out a form. As far as the unlock code that the other person provided for you I can’t vouch for that but I do want to advise that if you enter the incorrect unlock code into your buzz 5 times your buzz is permanently locked.
