I have a NEC ETJ 8-2 Phone in my classroom. It set so it doesn’t ring. Anyone know how to change that?

the buzz is a NEC Dterm Series III Buzz. I’ve searched for online manuals and not anything. It’s ancient and the school has it set not to ring so it doesn’t disturb the class, but if my kids need to call me or a parent, I’d rather pick up the buzz than check every 5 minutes for voice mail. Supposedly you just type in some code at teh function menu, but I can’t find it anywhere.
