Depending on your battery, it may just be surpass to let the buzz loose it charge, then charge. It “trains” the battery to keep a full charge. Worked for my vTech
I have a Panasonic cordless buzz too. I didn’t pay attention to when I need to charge. I just place it on the charger whenever I want and I had the buzz for over two years. So far, it can hold a charge without any problems. I had another Panasonic cordless buzz for over three years and I had to replace the rechargeable battery once. The battery fee was ok around $30.
it will not be harmful to the batteries if you leave the buzz on the charger, the batteries can not be overcharged, the base will stop charging the batteries when the charge is complete. Also most of the newer rechargable batteries do not have a “memory” so you do not need to run them down completely before each charge… but, if you notice after a even as of usage that the battery charge is not holding as long as it used to, then run the batteries down completely, and charge for at least 12 hours straight (or just replace them)
