I have a question about getting a phone contract with Verizon Wireless?
I have one of those Casio G’zOne Boulder phones that someone gave me, but I don’t have a contract with Verizon. Say if I were to get a contract with Verizon, would they make me buy a new buzz even even if I by now have one I can use? Or would I be able to use my own buzz from the start without having to buy a buzz with the contract?

no they make u buy a huge fee (125)
You can take the buzz in and they will let you keep everything the same. just let them know you want everything to stay the same you just want to change phones. they should do it and its free since the buzz is by now bought and paid for you wont have to buy anything.
u can use your buzz without buying a new one.. although i wold advise u to buy it at a discount then resell on ebay or somewhere at retail fee
If you’re providing your own buzz, you can sign a 1 year contract and use your own customer provided buzz. If you signed a 2 yr contract even if, there would be several phones that you could get at no, or small out of pocket cost, and then use the Boulder buzz and keep the free buzz as a backup. It’s up to you what you wanted to do. If you do only want to use the Boulder buzz, they do require a 1 yr contract, but would be no issue with using the G’zOne Boulder.
