I want a 3G/GSM phone in Canada. Oh, and I refuse to get an iPhone. What are my options?
My thought has been to get an unlocked G1 and use it on Rogers. But the G2 comes out in April (?). And then there’s the Garmin buzz coming out soon. And Nokia has something that I’ve heard excellent things about but place of protection’t looked into much. I don’t want to wait months to get a buzz either. Any thoughts?
I’m not a fan of the blackberry’s trackball navigation feature …

Rogers carries the blackberry bold 3g
Certainly the BlackBerry Bold, the Storm cannot compare to the iPhone 3G but the Bold pretty much matches up to it.
If you want 3G and don’t like the trackball navigation on the Bold, then your best bet would be the Nokia E71. This buzz features 3G access, a slim profile QWERTY keyboard, GPS, full HTML browsing and 3.2MP camera amongst some of the features. Rogers has this for $99.99 on a 3-yr term with any voice and data plot.
