Is it worth the extra money to buy a Garmin 265T (with traffic) instead of a 255?
I don’t have a cell buzz, so the main difference would be the traffic capability (rather than the Bluetooth). I’m trying to gauge the value of the traffic information given by the 265T.
Thanks!
The 255 doesn’t have traffic or Bluetooth, even as the 265T has both. A refurbished 255 (with full warranty) can be bought 255W (wide screen) can be bought for less than $130 even as a refurbished 265WT costs just under $175.

Well this is only my opinion but I do know that you will conclude for your final answer at the end
For any GPS included in a cell buzz, based upon what I read and experienced before, it is obviously you will turn your cell buzz network on. If at that time you are using your GPS and if someone calls you, the mobile network will interrupt the signal of your GPS which means you may loss your GPS signal to direct your way.
In my opinion if you do not use GPS often, it is excellent to buy the traffic one.
But if you will use it often or sometimes, I reflect you should buy GPS device and a cheap cell buzz separately. Garmin is a nice brand as it gives you bring up to date direction often.
For me I’m using Garmin 205w, it’s very helpful one and still works fine. I bought it about not long ago. May be you may take it as one of your option.
In my opinion, furthermore, I reflect it is surpass to buy the wide series (4.3inch) too because it is simpler to look as you need more perspective to view even as you are driving.
