Motorola phone tools wont recognize my cell?
I have a RAZR v3a, and i cant get Motorola Buzz Tools to recognize it or any other buzz for that matter. my mothers is older than mine, and my sisters is newer. the program is up to date and i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times. it installs just fine, it just wont recognize any buzz that we have tried. any thoughts?

Which version are you using? Version 5 is way surpass than version 4. The trick to getting buzz tools to recognize your buzz is to do it manually. Go through all the steps as directed and when it fails to recognize the buzz it will offer to bring up to date the software. Click no and you should get a screen to manually set up your buzz. click yes and follow the instructions. On the select device screen select Motorola USB modem. On the next screen check the box do not automatically select guide, select from list. On the next screen click on Motorola CDMA in the left column then pick your buzz in the right column.Click next and it should detect your buzz.
