Nokia cell phone says RESTRICTED at start up, what do i do?
I have a Nokia 6010. I havn’t used it in a even as but when I place my SIM card in and turn it on a stop sign comes on and says Buzz Restricted! When I push “undo” it questions for a “restriction code”. I tried my ancient passwords and none work. Any thoughts?

Obviously somebody locked your buzz or you changed a password by a mystake!
What service provider SIM card did you place in the buzz? Is your service provider different from the buzz’s service provider.. Because when Tmobile or Cingular sells their phones. Its locked in their service, which means you can only place Cingular SIM for a Cingular buzz, same as Tmobile..
I will recommend you not to enter any password, but I guess you did it anyway. Because that password is the unlock code for your cell buzz.
Anyhow Your buzz is Locked!! In peacefulness for you to use it, Place the right SIM for the right buzz.. Or else get it unlocked!
And yeah quest yahoo.. They have some free Unlocker calculator.
You can unlock your buzz by yourself. also for free.
Excellent LUCk!!
