I got a panasonic phone but when I look at the dialled numbers I get in US phone format?

I got a panasonic cordless buzz in US and brought to India , when I look at the dialled numbers I get the dialled number in US buzz number format 3 – 3 – 4 digits. In india there is no such number format. Is there any way I can tune the set so that the number is not shown in the US number format. Panasonic set model number is KX-TG6074B.
May be I should have extra this detail before. I have checked this up in the manual ..there is no option provided in the manual. I just wanted to check if this needs some kind of crack to be done on buzz. I know this must be some kind of software programming.
