What does the phone lock do on sony ericsson phones?
if you go menu-settings-security then to buzz lock? i dont know what it does and the instructions aren’t very clear in the manual

It allows you to enter a security code that will protect your buzz and your personal data from being used with another sim card.
Yeh hes right, just protects from entering your information from another sim card
you can have a pin code on the simcard as well so that if your buzz is lost, if somebody tries to use your sim card, it will question for a code, therefore they dont know the code and your sim card gets cut off. Buzz code can be bipassed using cables even if…standard codes are normally 12345 or 00000
