what software do I need to download my ring tones to my Motorola v325 cell buzz? I have the driver +usb cable but not clear how I can access the cell buzz. I also have “motorola buzz tools v4″ and can access the buzz, but not all the setting like the ringer.

MPT V4 fully supports the Ringtones. You should re-read the help files on MPT. Once MPT is running, it will allow any compatible ringtone to be transferred. My guess is you are not using the right formatted files for the V325. probably MIDI files are best on the V325.
most of those items only allow your buzz to tether and act like a modem. use your get it now feature, it will be quicker, even if it may cost you, your buzz cannot support any other outdoor memory. so if you do find someone out there who has a 3rd party “freeware” keep in mind that sound may crash your buzz. and it wont be covered under warranty
Your company my be preventing you from transfering ringtones to your buzz. I heard that Verizon has some sort of check so that you will have to buy ringtones from them. You could try to go to these websites (see below) and e-mail the ringtones to your buzz. If you don’t know your buzz’s e-mail address, try sending a thought to your inbox from your buzz then hit answer.

I reflect its a pain to use a cable so I use Buzz Sherpa. You upload the total song to the editor, pick the part you want and send the ringtone directly to the buzz.
