Where can I get my motorola phone repaired?
I bought my Motorola Rokr E8 about 8 months ago online. I have a feeling the speaker blew out or something cause I can’t hear anything on the buzz. Unfortunately, motorola tells me that my buy was from a different country and cannot be serviced here even even if my warranty is still active. Is there anywhere I can take it to get it flat? Best Buy maybe? I live in Beaverton, OR.

Hi. I work for Motorola. Sorry to hear you’re having distress!
When you say you can’t hear anything, is that from both the earpiece and the outdoor speaker? That sometimes happens to me and it’s always because I have accidentally turned my Bluetooth headset on and it’s paired with my buzz. I’m not saying this is what has happened to you, but be sure to check your profile to see if it may be in headset or Bluetooth mode. If it’s stuck in that mode, you may be able to change it by rebooting or doing a reset on your buzz.
Also, make sure that the volume control didn’t get turned down by accident. I’m not that up on the E8 but sometimes there are multiple volume controls on a buzz and one gets inadvertently changed.
If none of this helps, your E8 is in warranty, and you’re the original owner, we will fix it. Use the link below to start the repair process. If there is no walk-in service center near you, you can mail it in for repair.
