Why doesn’t the sound on the Acer laptop windows XP edition work?
I have a Acer and it doesnt yield sound. The control panel said there is no sound device, and head phones dont work. How do i get sound?

Bring up to date the audio driver file
I would go to the Acer website and download their newest drivers for laptop that you have. Go to the website and type in what model your laptop is. If you don’t know it, look on the box that your laptop came with or sometimes it tells you on the bottom of your Laptop. I would download the newest driver for the Audio
