Would the LG phone that I buy here in the UK work with a Canadian company in Canada?
I am currently living in the UK, but am tender back to Canada in September 2010. I am currently thinking of buying the LG Cookie. I currently have a Samsung buzz that I got unlocked when I switched from Orange to Virgin movable. I am thinking that the same would be possible for my LG Cookie, if I’d get it unlocked back in Canada. The next part of my question is if that buzz would work with Fido or Rogers back in Canada.

You’ll have distress recharging the buzz as Canada and the UK use different voltages.
I’d buy the buzz in Canada.
So long as the buzz is unlocked, it will work on the Rogers/Fido networks.
Don’t worry about charging, you can get a domestic charger in Canada, or a plug converter for the UK charger. You shouldn’t need a transformer.
